Human Rights Commission Chairperson Advocate Bongani Majola conducts provincial visit in Free State, 2 to 4 Mar

The Chairperson of the South African Human Rights Commission, Adv. Bongani Majola, will be conducting a provincial visit in the Free State Province from Monday, 2 March 2020 to Wednesday, 4 March 2020. The purpose of this visit is to inspect and assess the status of the public health care facilities in the province.

The provincial visit is in line with the Commission’s mandate contained in Section 184(1) (b) of our Constitution which obliges the Commission to promote human rights and a culture of human rights, to promote the protection of human rights, and to monitor and assess the observance of human rights in the Republic.
