Re-launch of the National Skills Authority
The National Skills Authority (NSA) invites all media to its official re-launch after the appointment of its new board by the Minister of Higher Education and Training, Dr Blade Nzimande in March 2015.
The launch aims to create and increase awareness on the NSA brand and identity, and to promote skills development and training.
The objectives of the launch, among others, are:
- To communicate the NSA strategic objectives
- To create awareness on the role and mandate of the NSA and
- To launch the NSA logo and website.
The launch will mainly target participation of 300 delegates from government, provinces, NSA constituencies, Sector Education and Training Authorities (SETAs), colleges, universities, Human Resource Development Council (HRDC), Portfolio Committee on Higher Education and Training and Quality Councils.
The primary functions of the NSA is to advise the Minister of Higher Education and Training on matters of skills development in the country.
