Health Minister Dr Aaron Motsoaledi to release Mankweng Hospital report to the public

The Minister of Health, Dr Aaron Motsoaledi will release the Mankweng Hospital report to the public at a media conference in Polokwane.

The Limpopo Based Mankweng Hospital, near Polokwane was in recent weeks in the spotlight when it was reported that health services at the hospital almost collapsed due to reasons ranging from “poor management, lack of equipment and supervision”.

Reacting to these reports, the Minister of Health, Dr. Aaron Motsoaledi established a high level team to investigate circumstances that led to the public outcry and the alleged collapse of health service delivery at the hospital.

The team has completed its work and the Minister will this week release the report, its findings and recommendations to the public at a media conference to be held in Polokwane.
