The Portfolio Committee on Police will this Wednesday, 17 September 2014 be briefed on how the Hawks and the Independent Police Investigative Directorate (IPID) intend to address challenges of corruption in the South African Police Service.
The Hawks will also update the Committee on its strategies aimed at curbing rhino poaching. The IPID, on the other hand, will further update the Committee on progress made regarding the implementation of the IPID Act.
