Handing over of Phase one of the Lerato Park Project in Kimberly

The Deputy Minister of Human Settlements Hon Zou Kota Fredericks together with the Premier of the Northern Cape and the MEC for Cooperative Governance, Human Settlements and Traditional Affairs, Mr Alvin Botes will be handing over Phase one of the Lerato Park Project in Kimberly.

Four hundred and ninety-one (491) Families will become proud owners of houses as part of a project that will see the eventual construction of 4 654 housing units which is ready to handover to beneficiaries.

The Lerato Park Integrated Housing Project is a formerly designated National Priority Project devised in line with Government’s Comprehensive Plan for the Development of Sustainable Human Settlement (Comprehensive Plan) of 2004 and seeks to facilitate the creation of a dignified and integrated suburb of 4 654 housing opportunities that could achieve sustainable development outcomes for the community as a whole.
