The South African Police Service (SAPS), in collaboration with the University of South Africa (UNISA), will be hosting the first SAPS Women in Leadership Seminar and Graduation Ceremony at the SAPS Academy Paarl.
During the graduation ceremony, 52 senior woman managers will be graduating after successfully completing the Practical Management Programme which was presented to SAPS by UNISA. This developmental programme is aimed at assisting the organisation to achieve the strategic objective of professionalising the SAPS.
The Deputy Minister of Police, Ms MM Sotyu and the National Commissioner, General MV Phiyega will address the policewomen during the graduation ceremony.
