Explosive talent at the Gauteng School Winter Games
The Regional School Winter Games towards the selection of Team Gauteng for the SA School Championships are on this coming Friday, 24 and Saturday 25 July across the province.
The games will see primary and secondary school teams from four Gauteng City regions (Johannesburg, Tshwane, Ekurhuleni and Sedibeng) compete in various sporting codes, including football, netball, volleyball and rugby, for a chance to participate in the Provincial Winter Games set to take place next weekend. The west rand has already held their games.
Gauteng are the reigning champions of the SA School Championships for three consecutive years and are determined to keep the trophy for the fourth year.
