Gauteng Provincial Legislature delegation to pay last respects to Tata Madiba

A delegation led by the Gauteng Provincial Legislature Speaker, Hon. Lindiwe Maseko will visit the Union Buildings tomorrow, 13 December 2013 where the former President Nelson Mandela’s body lies in state. The delegation will proceed to Orlando Stadium for memorial service.

The following dignitaries will form part of the delegation to pay their last respects to Madiba: Hon Godfrey Tsotetsi; Hon Priscilla Masepe; Hon Thoko Magagula; Hon Mafika Mgcina; Hon Refioe Mogale; Hon Lindi Lasindwa; Hon John Moodey; Hon Errol Magerman; Hon Nelisiwe Moerane; Hon Hermène Koorts; Hon Solomon Nkhi; Hon Mbongeni Radebe; Hon Nokuthula Sikakane; Hon Doreen Senokoanyane; and Hon Joggie Boers.

It was during President Mandela’s time that the Gauteng Provincial Legislature was transformed into this democratic institution that it is today, it is against this background that members of the Legislature sow it befitting to pay their last respect to the Leader who immensely contributed to lives of the people of Gauteng.
