The Portfolio Committee on Sport, Recreation, Arts and Culture in the Gauteng Provincial Legislature, will be undertaking a Bua le Sechaba feedback session in the Sedibeng Region. The session is aimed at providing feedback on issues raised during the Bua le Sechaba campaign hosted over two days in March 2012 in the region of Sedibeng.
The campaign in 2012 was aimed at investigating factors contributing to poor attendance and participation at National Commemorative Days by minority groups. The Portfolio Committee has compiled a comprehensive report on the findings and recommendations from the community. The Gauteng Department of Sports, Arts, Culture and Recreation will be presenting responses emanating from the Committee report.
