Gauteng Legislature responds to Gauteng youth on interventions to tackle unemployment, 19 Jan

The Legislature’s Oversight Committee on the Premier’s Office & the Legislature (OCPOL) invites Gauteng youth to a report back session following commitments made at the January 2022 Youth Workshop to address unemployment on 19 January 2023, from 10am at the Johannesburg City Hall.

The Committee will present its interventions and strategies that aim to tackle unemployment and open doors for the youth to enter the mainstream economy as active participants. 

Anticipating robust engagement from the youth who face the daily plight of unemployment, the Office of Premier will also account and present progress on interventions proposed at the workshop in 2022, which include the review of the Tshepo 1-Million programme, amongst others, to ensure maximum impact.
