Premier David Makhura, together with Members of the Executive Council, will on Wednesday, 12 August 2015, host a dialogue to discuss topical issues affecting women.
The dialogue, which will be attended by women from all areas and different women organisations, will be a platform for government to engage women on all issues affecting them. Empowerment and development initiatives aimed at developing women of Gauteng are some of the topics that will discussed on the day.
“This initiative, and all activities line up for women’s month, is an indication that women’s development remains a priority in Gauteng,” said MEC Faith Mazibuko, a Member of the Executive Council responsible for women issues in the province.
