Gauteng Provincial Government will on Monday, 17 August 2015, host a conversation with black industrialists. The discussions will be led by Minister of Economic Development Ebrahim Patel and Premier David Makhura.
With this conversation, government seeks to engage business and black industrialists on the Gauteng’s ten-pillar programme of radical Transformation, Modernisation and Reindustrialisation in pursuit of radical socio-economic transformation within the context of implementing the National Development Plan (NDP), Vision 2030.
“The reindustrialisation of our economy is critical in transforming the economy and taking the lead in Africa’s new industrial revolution. Our efforts to reindustrialise Gauteng, must boost employment and drive economic inclusion of black owned businesses, SMMEs, township enterprises, women and youth enterprises,” said Premier Makhura.
