Helen Joseph Hospital to host world renowned Fashion Doyen’s Breast Cancer Drive
The Helen Joseph Hospital will host the world renowned Ms Carolina Herrera and her daughter Ms Carolina Herrera de Baez’s CH Pink initiative. Through this programme, the Herrera brand provides palliative care to breast cancer patients in the country.
The initiative was launched in 2013 by the Herrera brand in partnership with the Breast Health Foundation. The Carolina Herrera brand has since committed R5 million over a five year period for local support.
Helen Joseph Hospital Breast Care Centre was established in 2005 to improve direct access to specialist breast care in Johannesburg. The centre manages around 500 to 700 patients each month.
