The Gauteng Department of Infrastructure Development (DID) is hosting the Gauteng Energy and Growth seminar. The seminar is to thrash out the province’s renewable energy options and learn lessons from countries such as Korea that have undertaken large scale renewable energy projects.
The focus will be on an optimal energy-supply mix and its implications for achieving sustainable economic development within and around the emerging Gauteng City-Region.
Various high profile speakers will make presentations and lead discussions.
They include representatives from Korea Wind Energy Association and other energy experts.
