Gauteng Department of Economic Development MEC Nkosiphendule Kolisile to visit informal traders in the Johannesburg CBD/Bree Taxi Rank

As part of the Gauteng Department of Economic Development's drive to support informal traders and street vendors, MEC Nkosiphendule Kolisile will go on a walkabout at the City of Johannesburg's informal trading market place. Leaders of informal traders' organizations in Gauteng will form part of the walkabout.

MEC Kolisile will utilize this opportunity to speak about the Gauteng Department of Economic Development's plans for the informal economy and to interact with informal traders on a range of challenges they face as a sector. The walkabout will be a precursor to the Informal Traders' Summit which will take place on 9-10 July 2013.
