Free State Tourism celebrates 2015 World Consumer Rights Day, 21 Mar

The 2015 World Consumer Rights Day will be a celebration to be remembered at Hlanganani-Kopanang Intermediate School in Warden. More than 1 200 members of the community are expected to attend the ceremony. This year’s celebration’s theme is “Helping consumers choose healthy diets”.

At this year’s celebrations, seven new Consumer Affairs Court officials will take oath of office to serve for a period of 1 year. Since the inception of Consumer Protection Office and consumer court, more than 1976 consumer complaints totaling R11 million have successfully been resolved and the money returned back to consumers.
