The Free State Provincial Government invites members of the community to celebrate the Provincial Public Service Day to be held in Zastron Thusong Services Centre on the 18 September 2015. The adopted theme for 2015 is “Moving South Africa Forward: Taking the Public Service to the People”.
This year’s Public Service Month (PSM) programme seeks to provide feedback and consider improvement on the interventions on frontline service delivery emanating from the public servants themselves on the concept of “reinventing how public servants do their work”. The PSM also serves as a precursor for the 3rd National Batho Pele Excellence Awards which will take place in November 2015.
The PSM will also include a service delivery exhibition which seeks so showcase the provision of the service delivery closer to where people live. All Free State Provincial Government Departments across the public service are expected to exhibit and provide their services, showcase their products including sharing of best practices
