Handing over of vailing machine to Mr Machiya
The department of Economic, Small Business Development, Tourism and Environmental Affairs encourages sustainable development through the practice of appropriate and effective greening, cleaning, recycling and waste management. This is the reason why Mr Machiya will be given a bailing machine to continue with the good work he has started with this project.
Mr Machiya grouped the Youth of Odendaalsrus that were into drugs and without jobs to collect and recycle waste so that they can at least put food on their families’ tables. The machine will assist in compacting of waste, cardboard and plastic.
