In its quest to create awareness and mobilise for the increased participation of People With Disabilities (PWD) into the Programme, the Expanded Public Works Programme (EPWP), Non State Sector (NSS) cordially invites you to the community information session to be held as follows:

Background
The EPWP Non-State Sector (NSS) has established a partnership with Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs), in drawing up a large number of the unemployed into productive work with an effort to alleviate poverty and unemployment through the provision of work opportunities.
The objectives of the information session are:
- To create awareness about the EPWP, Non State Sector(NSS) and participation of people with disabilities in the programme.
- To open a platform for the sector to better understand the challenges of the disabled sector taking part in the NSS programme.
- To encourage municipalities to support the services offered by the Non Profit Organisations (NPO’s) in the NSS programme.
Among the stakeholders who are expected to attend the information session are: Municipalities, Disabled People of South Africa (DPSA), Independent
Development Trust (IDT), and South African Social Services Agency (SASSA)
