UIF Commissioner to host media briefing in Kimberley
Unemployment Insurance Fund (UIF) Commissioner, Teboho Maruping, together with officials from the Department of Employment and Labour will brief members of the media at the Department’s Provincial Office in Kimberley, Northern Cape Province on Tuesday, 14 March 2023.
The purpose of the briefing is to unpack the key priorities of the UIF for the upcoming 2023/2024 financial year, provide an update on matters related to the Covid-19 Temporary Employer-Employee Relief Scheme (Covid-19 TERS), fraud cases and phase 2 of the "follow the money" project which started in July 2022.
