The Economic Development Department will host a conference that brings together relevant senior managers at all spheres of government, to work on synchronising economic development projects for the next 5 years.
This, the conference will do through among others things:
- Ensuring programmes are aligned to the key strategies of government including, the NDP, NGP, APAP and IPAP,
- Identifying key areas that require strategic intervention and support on provincial and local plans,
- Developing an assessment framework to continuously monitor progress on job creation, investment and general economic growth.
Deputy Minister of Economic Development, Madala Masuku, will preside over proceedings.
