Send-off of a young woman to study Public Safety in America

The Department of Safety and Liaison in partnership with the non-profit organisation called Sizaminguqu Community Crime Prevention based in Ginsberg, will jointly be hosting a send-off ceremony.

This send-off of a 34 year old young woman by the name of Ms Nomzi Sam, from Ndlovini rural village of Keiskammahoek, came as result of a scholarship which has been awarded to her to study Public Safety in America. She has been chosen to study for a Certificate in Public Safety over a period of ten (10) moths at Bunker Hill Community College, (BHCC) in Boston. The study has been sponsored by US Embassy.

“As the Department of Safety and Liaison, we therefore, take off our hat to her and wish her well in her studies. We sincerely hope that upon completion of her studies she will come back home and become an integral cog of government in the fight against crime.”
