The Eastern Cape Department of Transport MEC Thandiswa Marawu will visit the family of deceased traffic officer Deneo Marina Mokgo at their home in South Paul, Maluti near Matatiele tomorrow.
Traffic Officer Mokgo tragically died when she was hit by a motorist whilst trying to stop it during a provincial roadblock which was being held on the N2 near Lungelweni village near Mount Ayliff on Friday 28 December 2012.
The incident happened at about 13h45 when a black polo with a Kokstad registration hit and injured Mokgo, she was rushed to Mount Ayliff Hospital but sadly later died while she was being transferred to a Hospital in KwaZulu Natal.
A memorial service is being planned for her next week Tuesday.
