As part of her District Roadshow programme, Eastern Cape MEC for Transport, Roads and Public Works, Hon Thandiswa Marawu will host an information sharing session at OR Tambo Hall in Mthatha on 16 March 2013 at 9h00.
The session will discuss pertinent issues relating to both the Department of Transport and the Department of Roads and Public Works.
Department of Transport:
- Government Fleet Trading Entity
- Doing business with government and merchants (procedures and processes)
- Payments including procedure and payment cycle
- Registration to First Auto as a merchant
Department of Roads and Public Works:
- Heighten awareness on Roads Forums
- Roads prioritization process
- SLA’s with municipalities
- Report back on the REDP contractor programme
