Eastern Cape MEC for Transport, Roads and Public Works, Thandiswa Marawu together with the Government Fleet Trading Entity and Wesbank First Auto will conduct the second information sharing road show/outreach at OR Tambo Hall in Mthatha on Saturday, 16 March at 09h00.
The road show is intended to inform small, medium and micro enterprises (SMMEs) about the strategic objectives of the Trading Entity, as well as business opportunities that exist in government fleet operations.
It gives a chance for the stakeholders to have a better understanding of the processes and procedures on the maintenance, repairs, towing and disposal of government vehicles.
The focus of the road show will be on the following aspects:
- Doing business with Government and Merchants (Procedures and Processes)
- Payments including procedure and payment cycle
- Registration to First Auto as a merchant.
