EC Health to visit Traditional Health Practitioners in Ntabankulu
Eastern Cape Health Professionals will attend a traditional health practitioner’s ceremony, intlombe on Saturday, 8 September 2018.
The visit is part of the Thuma Mina Community Wellness Programme currently underway in Ntabankulu. The outreach commenced on Monday, 3rd September and will conclude on the 9th of September.
The purpose of the visit is to engage and dialogue with the traditional healers on the prevalent high herbal intoxication which contributes to premature births, maternal deaths, paeditric mortalities and malnutrion of infant babies.
