EC Government to hold official memorial service for late struggle icon Mama Winnie Madikizela-Mandela
The Eastern Cape Provincial Government will, tomorrow the 10th of April 2018, hold the Provincial Official Memorial Service in honour of the late struggle stalwart and global anti-Apartheid icon uMama Nomzamo Winnie Madikizela-Mandela, who passed away on Monday the 2nd of April 2018 in Johannesburg.
His Excellency, President Cyril Ramaphosa, will deliver the key note address at the memorial service, which will take place at the Mphuthumi Mafumbatha Stadium in Mbizana.
President Ramaphosa will first visit with the Madikizela family at the ancestral home of Mama Winnie in Mbongweni Village, also in Mbizana, prior to the start of the Provincial Official Memorial Service.
