Eastern Cape Education celebrates International Teacher’s Day, 16 to 17 Oct

Eastern Cape Education MEC to Award Local Educators on Teacher’s Day the Eastern Cape Education Member of the Executive Council (MEC), Mandla Makupula invites you to the Provincial leg of the International Teacher’s day celebration scheduled for the 16th and 17th of October 2015 in the Cradock education district.

The first day of the two day event meant to celebrate educators will kick-start with a memorial lecture on the life and times of Mathew Goniwe.

During this eminent ceremony, the MEC will also honour all educators who have served the department with dignity and honour.

Dignitaries meant to grace the memorial lecture include the honourable President, Gedleyihlekisa Zuma, Minister Blade Ndzimande, the Provincial Premier, Pumulo Masuale and MEC Mandla Makupula.

The second day will see a rally devoted to all educators of the province in the local stadium.  Details of the memorial lecture are as follows:
