The Eastern Cape Department of Transport together with South African National Roads Agency Limited will be opening the N2 bypass at Assegaai River N2/13 km29,2 E between Grahamstown and Port Elizabeth on Friday 30 November 2012.
The following should be noted with regard to the opening of this bypass:
- It will be close to collapsed area.
- There will be a traffic sign 900m from where it will start.
- It will not be a gravel, but will have a black top (sort of a tar)
