The Director General of Sport and Recreation South Africa, Mr Alec Moemi, together with Basketball South Africa, Basketball National League and NBA Africa will on Thursday, 31 October 2013 host a media workshop at Wembley Stadium, Turfontein.
The purpose of the workshop is to equip media practitioners with the full understanding of the code and its technicalities relating to broadcast and other related media matters. We will also give a perspective in unlocking the media problems and the coverage thereof. Wembley Stadium is the home of 2013 Basketball National League from October - December 2013.
The NBA Africa, will provide the media insight about the code, on how to improve the game, broadcast and entertainment flow of the game, marketing, fanbase and floor management.
Speakers at the Workshop include: Director-General Moemi, Basketball SA Interim Leader Mr. Graham Abrahams; Basketball National League Chairman Mr. Albert Mokoena; NBA Africa VP Mr. Amadou Fall and a NBA visiting Operations Consultant.
