The South African Early Childhood Development Awards (SA ECD), now in the 11th year, recognise excellence innovation, best practice and participation in the ECD sector throughout the country. The Best ECD Centre and Best Practitioner of the year are awarded at provincial level while the following awards are awarded at national level:
- Best ECD Publication of the year
- Best Trainer of the year
- Best Training & Intervention of the year
- Best Programme supporting babies and young children with disabilities of the year (new category introduced this year)
The National Development Agency is hosting a series of provincial events to select winners that will also compete at the SA ECD national awards on the 26th of March 2015.
