Deputy President Cyril Ramaphosa will tomorrow, Friday 22 August 2014, deliver a keynote address at the Gauteng Social Cohesion Summit scheduled to be held at the Birchwood Hotel, Boksburg, Gauteng province.
The summit which is convened under the theme ''taking South Africa forward towards a radical social transformation'' will also be addressed by the Premier of Gauteng David Makhura and Minister of Arts and Culture, Nathi Mthethwa.
Five commission will be convened to focus on areas below which will form the basis of the summit declaration:
- Driving the principles of humanity and active citizenry
- Enhancing public service delivery through good governance and leadership
- Ensuring unity in diversity
- Response to the Millennium Development Goals
- Building a progressive nation beyond 20 years of democracy
