Deputy President Motlanthe to hand over houses to the community of Gombani village in the Mutale Municipality, Limpopo province

Deputy President Kgalema Motlanthe will on Friday, 23 August 2013, visit the Gombani Village in the Mutale Municipality, Limpopo province, to hand over houses to the residents. 

The houses were built by the women of Gombani using the technology, which is donated by the company Hydraform and licensed by Agrement South Africa.

The visit by Deputy President Motlanthe will highlight the role of women in construction as they invest in rural development and enhance women’s opportunities to economic empowerment by supporting the Gombani Bricks Primary Co-Operative Limited.

Deputy President Motlanthe will be accompanied by the Deputy Minister of Women, Children and Person with Disabilities, Hendrietta Bogopane-Zulu, the Premier of Limpopo province, Stanley Mathabatha, together with representatives from the private sector. 

Members of the media are invited to the hand-over.
