Deputy President, Kgalema Motlanthe, will deliver a public lecture on the theme ‘Human Rights and democratisation in Africa’ at the University of Pretoria on 31 March 2014.
The public lecture will be in celebration of 15 years of the year-long programme of Master of Laws/Master of Philosophy (LLM/MPhil) in Human Rights and Democratisation in Africa, provided by the Centre for Human Rights, Faculty of Law at the University of Pretoria. This year, 26 students from 23 African states were admitted for the programme.
