Deputy President Cyril Ramaphosa will address the Partnership for Maternal, Newborn and Child Health Partners Forum on Monday 30 June 2014 at the Sandton Convention Centre, Johannesburg. The forum is organised around the theme "accelerate progress, envision the future".
The forum is also expected to be addressed by the Minister of Health, Dr Aaron Motsoaledi and Mrs Graca Machel, in her capacity as the Chairperson of the partnership for Maternal, Newborn and Child Health (PMNCH). There will also be recorded messages of support from UN Secretary-General, Ban Ki-Moon, Secretary-General of the United Nations and former USA Secretary of State, Hilary Clinton.
The two day forum will bring together health professionals, policy makers, business leaders and advocates to deliberate on progress towards and beyond the Millennium Development Goals (MDG) on the issue of maternal, newborn and child health.
