Deputy Ministers of Water and Sanitation, Mr David Mahlobo and Ms Judith Tshabalala will join their counterparts from other departments in a District Development Model working visit to Kromhoek village in Umzimkhulu, under Harry Gwala District on Friday, 08 September 2023.
The visit to Umzimkhulu, to be led by the Deputy Minister of Human Settlements, Ms Pamela Tshwete, is a follow up, to give feedback on several commitments made during a visit in the village in July 2022.
During the visit on Friday, houses will be handed over to the destitute families while Deputy Ministers, Mahlobo and Tshabalala will give feedback on the state of water and sanitation services in Kromhoek Village. Furthermore, the deputy ministers will engage community members on several service delivery issues affecting them.
