Human Settlements Deputy Minister Zou Kota-Fredericks will host the Miranda Ngculu Memorial Lecture in honour of all women struggle stalwarts and celebrate the 100 years of Mama Albertina Sisulu.
Under the theme: "100 Years of Women's Struggles: Women United in Moving South Africa Forward", the lecture is a tribute to the women whose struggles laid the foundations for women’s rights and freedoms and to inspire action to further transform gender relations and advance efforts to ensure gender equality and women’s empowerment in South Africa.
NB: The memorial Lecture will be preceded by a site visit to women struggle stalwart house, Gogo Caroline Dunga in Delft, to check on progress on the on-going remedial work.
