Senior citizen finally gets her house
As part of the Department to prioritise the elderly, people with disabilities and child-headed households, Human Settlements Deputy Minister Zou Kota-Fredericks together with, MEC Norah Mahlangu and Executive Mayor Cllr Nomsa Mtsweni will be handing over a new fully furnished house to gogo Betty Nkabinde who will be turning 102 years from Thembisile Hani Local Municipality this Thursday.
The house is sponsored by youth contractor Phillip Malibe after seeing the dire living condition of the gogo’s family.
The handover event is scheduled for as follows:
