The Deputy Minister of State Security Zizi Kodwa will be in Mdantsane City Mall, East London as part of continued efforts by government to contain violent protests and vandalism.
The visit by Deputy Minister Zizi Kodwa is to urge the community of Mdantsane to resist any attempts at mobilizing to vandalize and loot businesses in Mdantsane, as these businesses are an important safety net in sustaining livelihoods of the broader community of Mdantsane.
The visit will also be to interact with the stakeholders that have assisted in ensuring that there is calm and order in Mdantsane.
