Deputy Minister Thembi Siweya visits the Western Cape province as part of the vooma vaccination weekend
The Deputy Minister in the Presidency, Ms. Thembi Siweya, will visit the Western Cape Province as part of the Vooma Vaccination Weekend that is aimed at encouraging South Africans to vaccinate on 12 to 13 November 2021.
The vaccination activation presents an opportunity for government to particularly encourage young people and men to vaccinate and assist the country to attain population immunity. Vaccination sites will be open across the country during the Vooma weekend, and the goal is to ensure at least 95% capacity on the Saturday.
