Deputy Minister Thembi Siweya visits Covid-19 vaccination sites in North West Province, 9 Mar

Presidency takes Covid-19 frontline monitoring of vaccination sites to North West 

The Deputy Minister in the Presidency, Thembi Siweya, will undertake a two-part frontline monitoring visit to the Covid-19 vaccination sites in the North West Province. The Deputy Minister will visit the vaccination site at Klerksdorp-Tshepong Tertiary Hospital in Klerksdorp on Tuesday 09 March 2021. He will be accompanied by the MEC of Health Mr Madoda Sambatha and several provincial leaders.   

With this visit, the Deputy Minister Siweya will be able to assess progress of the implementation of the vaccine rollout programme. 

The visit to the Tshepong Tertiary Hospital will be preceded by an assessment of compliance to health protocols and Covid-19 regulations at J.S. Masisi Primary School. The frontline monitoring of the school is part of a government-wide Back-to-School Campaign that is aimed at highlighting the importance of education and to mobilise society to play a role supporting teaching and learning.
