Deputy Minister Steve Letsike addresses G20 Youth Engagement Working Group (Y20), 19 Jun

The Deputy Minister in the Presidency for Women Youth and Persons with Disabilities Mmapaseka Steve Letsike will address the G20 Youth Engagement Working Group (Y20) in Pretoria on Thursday 19 June 2025. The G20 Youth Working Group aims to empower young leaders to shape global policies and mobilise young people to strategically participate and contribute to the G20 through the Y20 working group.

  • Meaningful Youth Engagement and Reforming Multilateralism for a Just Future and Inclusive Social Development and Fighting Inequality - Leaving No One Behind.

As the world moves into an increasingly interconnected and complex future, the role of youth is ever more vital in policymaking. Youth participation in the international decision-making process is more than a necessity.
