Deputy Minister Sindisiwe Chikunga officiates career expo and mass prayer service in Mambuka, 15 Oct

The Deputy Minister of Transport Ms. Sindisiwe Chikunga will engage with learners during a career exhibition to be hosted by the Department of Transport in partnership with the Okuhle Community Support Centre in Mambuka in the KwaZulu-Natal province on Thursday, 15 October 2015.

Transport department and its entities will engage school learners from five surrounding schools about the careers and bursary opportunities available in the transport sector.

As part of its objective the department wants to support and encourage learners to make use of opportunities made available to them by government.

Deputy Minister Chikunga will also attend a mass prayer organized by the Okuhle Community Support Centre to pray for the learners, the elderly and the rest of the community.

The career expo and the visit by the Deputy Minister are part of the October Transport Month which was officially launched by the Minister of Transport Ms Dipuo Peters.

Learners from different schools and parents are expected to attend the event.
