Deputy Minister Sidumo Dlamini embarks on provincial Back-to-School Campaign to support pupils in KwaZulu Natal province, 7 Feb

The Deputy Minister for Small Business Development to embark on a provincial back-to-school campaign to support pupils in the KwaZulu Natal province

Annually, government rolls out a range of Back-to-School initiatives at the beginning of January to mid-February to promote education. The National Development Plan calls for the implementation of a joint national initiative involving all stakeholders to drive efforts to improve learning outcomes. It is therefore the country`s collective effort to work together to meet the set targets and achieve the desired outcomes.

The Deputy Minister for Small Business Development, Mr. Sidumo Dlamini will be conducting provincial school visits to ensure that learners have access to information and are supported in various aspects of their schooling. Deputy Minister Dlamini will be visiting five (5) schools in the KwaZulu-Natal province to hand over school shoes and sanitary towels to under privileged pupils. Deputy Minister Dlamini will be supported by MECs, Executive Mayors, Mayors and Members ofNational Parliament to roll out this programme.
