Deputy Minister Sibongiseni Dhlomo hands over school uniform to learners in KwaZulu-Natal, 18 Jan

The Deputy Minister of Health, Dr Sibongiseni Dhlomo will tomorrow morning, 18 January handover school uniform to over 120 identified learners at iNgwengwe Primary School in Umbumbulu outside Durban in KwaZulu-Natal Province.

The donation is as part of his social responsibility programme to empower children from needy backgrounds to realise their academic dreams.
Deputy Minister Dhlomo will be joined by managers from the South African Social Security Agency-KZN Office and other leaders when he hands over the donation. This will be followed by another handover in two weeks-time in Putellos Primary School in Mpandwini area within Ethekwini Municipality.

On Wednesday this week, Dr Dhlomo partnered with TB-HIV Care, a non-profit organisation working in the health sector and handed over hygiene packs to learners at Hamilton High School to promote hygiene amongst children to prevent possible transmission of diseases like cholera.
