Deputy Minister Rejoice Mabudafhasi meets crafters in Ficksburg, 10 Nov

Arts and Culture Deputy Minister, Ms Rejoice Mabudafhasi, MP, will host the Craft Imbizo to discuss sustainable opportunities available in the Arts, Culture and Heritage Sector. This session will take place on Tuesday, 10 November 2015 at Mapenyalira Community Hall, Meqheleng in Ficksburg, Free State.

The Craft Imbizo will amongst others also provide a platform for crafters to engage on the challenges, share ideas on craft sectors’ development and how craft sector can be better serviced moving forward.

The Craft Sector has long being acknowledged as one of the strategic sectors for socio-economic development and job creation in the country. Despite this, many challenges still beset this sector. Prior to the Craft Imbizo, Deputy Minister Mabudafhasi will hoist the national flag on Tuesday, 10 November 2015 at Saint Joseph Primary in Ficksburg from 07h30 to 09h00 to promote national identity, instil the spirit of patriotism, nation building and social cohesion.
