Deputy Minister in the Presidency responsible for Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation (DPME), Ms. Pinky Kekana, will on Tuesday, 31 October 2023, undertake frontline monitoring of service delivery in the Mangaung Metro Municipality, Free State Province.
The visit is against the backdrop of previous monitoring conducted by the DPME’s Local Government Unit to assess service delivery projects in the metro. The findings of the DPME report will be released and discussed during Deputy Minister Kekana’s visit in order to develop interventions aimed at enhancing services to the community.
Deputy Minister Kekana will also conduct frontline monitoring of the Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) System, which is one of the municipality’s catalytic projects that has a ripple developmental and economic effect on the province.
