Learners to be exposed to career opportunities
The Deputy Minister of Human Settlements, Ms Pamela Tshwete will on Friday 28th of July host a Youth Career Expo and Exhibition to be held in Cape Town, Gugulethu Sports Arena, Western Cape.
The event is expected to be attended by about 1000 learners from six schools around Gugulethu. The Career Expo aims to empower the youth in the township by exposing them to opportunities in various industries. Government Departments, Human Settlements Agencies, and the private sector will exhibit and disseminate valuable information to empower the learners in choosing careers / career guidance.
Deputy Minister Tshwete will be accompanied by the Deputy Minister of Health, Dr Sibongiseni Dhlomo, Deputy Minister of Forestry, Fisheries, and the Environment, Ms Makhotso Sotyu, and the Deputy Minister of Mineral Resources and Energy, Dr Nobuhle Nkabane.
