The Deputy Minister of Higher Education and Training, Dr Nomusa Dube-Ncube to officially launch the WorldSkills South Africa (WSZA)- Elangeni TVET College Aircraft Maintenance Academy. The launch will take place at Elangeni TVET College, Inanda Campus in Durban on Friday, 05 June 2026.
The Academy is the result of a strategic public-private partnership between Elangeni TVET College, WSZA and Starlite Aviation. It is the first Academy within the public domain to offer specialized training in aircraft maintenance.
The academy represents a groundbreaking step in skills development for the aviation industry in South Africa.
