Deputy Minister Mfeketo to deliver opening remarks at first meeting of BRICS Sherpas and Sous-Sherpas in Cape Town
The Deputy Minister of International Relations and Cooperation, Ms Nomaindiya Mfeketo, will on Monday, 05 February 2018, deliver opening remarks at the First Meeting of the BRICS Sherpas and Sous Sherpas. The meeting will take place in Cape Town.
This will be the first official meeting on the BRICS Calendar under the auspices of South Africa’s Chairship. The meeting will discuss the working arrangements for BRICS in 2018. South Africa, as the host country for the BRICS 2018 Summit, will present its Chairship priorities to its partners.
South Africa will host the 10th BRICS Summit in Johannesburg in July 2018.
